Come and experience our West Coast Floral Spectacle every year from August to early September.
Every year the West Coast , like Namaqualand, experiences a flower explosion during the winter month of August.
Sometimes depending on how cold or wet our West Coast winter is, the West Coast flowers can even start blooming as early as July, but usually the West Coast flowers bloom anywhere from the first week in August to around the first week in September.
2023 was truly one of the most beautiful flower seasons that the West Coast has experienced in many years as a result of the incredibly wet and cold winter that the West Coast experienced, and the flowers started blooming already in the 3rd week in July! it was a breathtakingly beautiful flower season in 2023!

First of all, I would like to wish everyone from West Coast Jou Lekker Ding Facebook Group a warm welcome. Without you who have been and still are loyal Group members for the past 12 years, none of what we stand for on the West Coast would be possible, so I say from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much, you are the 'backbone' of the West Coast, and from West Coast Your Nice Thing, and with you I will fight a War against any enemy any day!
We are not just Facebook acquaintances, we are a West Coast Family, and this Braai Weekend that is coming up now, as with all previous years' BraaiDays, is proof of our close friendship and love for each other in a very messed up World.

Terms & Conditions apply. Disclaimer: No own alcohol will be allowed on the festival grounds. Campers are entitled to have alcohol in their camping area but may not use it on the festival grounds, ie you may not bring alcohol to the proceedings, but rather you must support the beer tent. Anyone who violates the aforementioned rule will be asked to leave the premises. No firearms or any form of weapon including knives, or any object that can cause bodily harm or damage, are permitted on the premises during the weekend of the Festival proceedings. Apart from the beer tent, Knor Varkie's Bar and Restaurant facilities will also be available for the whole weekend. No refunds on tickets. Designated parking is provided. Right of admission Reserved.
