About the Event
We're kicking off the Weskus Jou Lekker Ding's annual Braai Day this year at 09:00am at River Market Restaurant & SHIPWRECK BAR in Velddrif.
Last year's WJLD Braai was also held in Velddrif at the Knor Varkie open-air Restaurant and Bar, but this year promises to be even bigger and more delicious.
We will be holding a formal "Potjiekos Competition" that day, and those who are not participating in the potjiekos competition will have a nice braai together for their families and friends.
Everyone should preferably bring their own camp chairs, eating utensils, their own meat, salads and spreads, but no alcoholic refreshments, because these must be purchased at the bar that makes the 'Venue' available to us, that's the only little money they can make that day since we don't charge any entrance fees for participating in our Braai Day.

The ticket will grant the ticket holder access to the West Coast Jou Lekker Ding BraaiDag 2023 which will be held on 25 November 2023 at River Market Restaurant & SHIPWRECK BAR.

We are a small & intimate Afrikaans Fees'sie'tje, & we like it that way!
Look at it, the way we look at it, we're going to have a Woodstock trek on ourselves, Thursday the 1st of May 2024 is a Public Holiday, so if you take leave for Friday the 2nd of May 2024 , then you have a nice long weekend with us from Wednesday afternoon, until Sunday afternoon, at a very cheap Tent & Caravan camping rate! Smart idea from us, right? Your Welcome~!

At this time, a Karaoke will be offered in the hall for all those ordinary people who walk with a song in their hearts every day. This is the opportunity to put your 'stage fright' away for a while where no one can find it, grab that Mic and bring out the 'inner artist' in you.
